Dale Bible Church began on September 16, 1987 with a small bible study that met at a nursing home in Dale, Led by Pastor Jim Thompson and with sponsorship from Townsend Bible Church in Paradise, IN, this Bible study grew until the church was able to move into various other facilities and increase the number of ministries it provided, The Lord continued to bless as the church was able to buy its' own property and build our current facility which was completed in July of 1994. God has continued to bless Dale Bible Church, allowing us to continue to grow and to purchase additional property with the intent of expanding our facilities in the near future by God's grace!
I was born and raised in the cereal city, Battle Creek, Michigan. After spending my child hood in a home that identified itself as Lutheran, where church attendance and emphasis on the Lord Jesus Christ was minimal, I learned about the shed blood of Jesus Christ and what that meant in May of 2006, just prior to my 21st birthday.
Following my trusting Christ for salvation, I was by the grace of God discipled by a retired dairy farmer. It was through this man’s mentoring that my life would change forever. I would be given an opportunity to attend Bible College, where I would commit to serve the Lord Jesus in pastoral ministry. In between my junior and senior year, I would marry the woman of my dreams; my beautiful wife Jenna. Following my senior year we would begin a life of ministry together.
We spent three and a half years serving as the pastor of youth and family ministries at Martinsville Bible Church in Martinsville, Illinois. In September of 2014, the Lord began directing our paths elsewhere. After four months of prayer, it was clear to us that God was calling us to serve Him in another capacity. Jenna and I began ministering at Dale Bible church on March 1st, 2015. Jenna and I are blessed to be mommy and daddy to 3 beautiful little girls Joylin, Jiliana, and Joella.
My hobbies are just about anything to do with sports, music, or being outdoors. I am a life long Detroit sports fan as well as a fan of the Michigan Wolverines. Of all these things, my favorite thing in life (following the Lord, Jesus Christ) is hearing my little girls squeal "Daddy" each day when I arrive home. The Lord has blessed me beyond measure in the call to serve Him, to love and lead a family, and hold His name in high regard.
As a body of believers, our mission is to be faithful in Loving the Lord, Living the Word, and Reaching the People all for the glory of God.
To see the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ go forth changing hearts and lives for the glory of God, and to see individuals come to a saving relationship with our Lord and Savior through salvation in Him.
The community of our church consists of down to earth, like-minded believers from all walks of life. Though we may differ from one to another, we are still all united in that common bond of Jesus Christ.
Strive to be the very best witness we can be for Him and His glory; to live our lives as a testament of His constant goodness and faithfulness to us each and every day.
IFCA International is a Fellowship of churches and believers from around the world who are committed to biblical ministry in an effort to enhance the strength of the Church by equipping for, and encouraging toward, ministry partnerships to accomplish Great Commission objectives.
The ministry was founded 1930 in Cicero, Illinois as The Independent Fundamental Churches of America to provide fellowship, encouragement, and identification for the independent church as well as individuals of like faith. Our history is rich with an emphasis on historic fundamental doctrinal distinctives, evangelistic zeal and missionary vision. We officially changed our name in 1996 to IFCA International, reflecting the connection with our history. Today our Fellowship offers the same valuable benefits and care to a new generation of independent churches and pastors worldwide.
IFCA International provides an organizational structure to coordinate and encourage joint participation in ministry activities while at the same time guaranteeing the autonomy of congregational government. The Constitution and By-Laws of the Fellowship provide for a voluntary membership for churches, organizations and individuals. Membership is reaffirmed annually.
We have nearly 1000 associated churches in the United States and up to three times that number of associated churches in 26 countries outside the U.S. We have 1000 individual members who are pastors, missionaries, college and seminary professors, chaplains, other vocational Christian workers and laymen.
